As you may or may not remember, I started refinishing my deck last summer. Sanded it all down, replaced every nail with a screw...and let it sit that way for a year. So on Monday I had to rent a floor sander and do it again, finally finished staining it yesterday. And just in time- we're supposed to get 5-10 inches of snow tonight! Anyway, I'm happy with the results. It isn't perfect, but I like it better.  Before and after.   |

I hate to assume and make blanket statements, but I feel procrastination is a trait many of us have in common. (That, and a tendency to hoard rocks, lol. I've never met a rock I didn't like, and always believed it wanted to go home with me.  ) Great job on the deck! Anything worth doing is best done taking your time and doing it right. How's the truck doing? |
