I just got a piece of this because it reminds me of Maw Sit Sit. Anyone seen it before or worked with it? ------------------------------
Update: The seller had 0 feedback. I was nervous when he didn't ship the next day as per ebay rules. I contacted him and had a very slow response- like 3 days. He said he would make it up to me. He sent triple the rock I won!! Top image below is what I received- Looks like a couple nice plasma (which he also sells) another chromite and an unknown from the same area. All trim saw size, but nice- nicer than than the picture. The one I bought is on the left. The unknown is the dark one in front. Jade maybe? Probably from San Benito.

Nice looking rock. Haven't seen it before, but it's cool. I've only had some uvarovite druzy.

I've worked uvarovite druse on chromite from Russia. The chromite's a bit dirty to grind but it's worth the effort. I still have a few nice pieces to cut one of these days when the #!@$& termite tenting is finished. What a job! It's almost as bad as moving.
That San Benito area is really a treasure trove. Benitoite, Andradite/Demantiod garnets and much more.

Can anyone help ID the darker stone in front? I'm not familiar with the area. I can get a better pic if needed.
