You know I find this kinda funny. We get excited when we see an eagle. My daughters appreciate seeing them but not the "stop the car I think that was an eagle" excited like us. I guess when seeing one as a kid was a rare occurrence for us makes it more specialer to see them so much now. Every find your road trips take forever because you keep stopping for rocks and wildlife? Well... I have found myself poking around and have to kick myself in the butt to get going. Gotta keep the trip home in the back of your mind 😉

The rum river was looking mighty fine for fishing.

Good to see Eagles are making a come back in your area, we have a (LOT) of them in the Mississippi River valley. My Grandson went fishing with me this summer and spent more time with his camera than he did his fishing pole.He spends most of his time in the big city and was amazed by the amount of Eagles we have on the big river. A lot of them are so used to boat traffic you can pull right underneath them while they chatter at the boat !

Hopefully we can keep pesticides from ever causing that again. Down near red wing the Goldens migrate through. That would be the ultimate to see. www.nationaleaglecenter.org/golden-eagle-project/
