right on Mike your grandson is growing to being a strong young man... what his name? Yeah, he's in Kindergarten already. Time seems to move faster the older I get, I don't know how it goes by so quickly. Oh and his name is Jackson.

Went outside at 6:30 EDT this morning and was greeted by a Halloween smiley face in the sky. Took many photos but only got one that wasn't blurry.

Barn painting has commenced. Actually, a mural is being painted on this side of barn. The crew arrived yesterday. I will be taking many photos the next two days. Also installing a couple of trail cameras aimed at the barn. Here is a before photo. What was done yesterday. Note that some of the icky Box Elder trees were sawed off. The remaining tree by barn is a Sumac. The crew agreed that it should not be damaged. The mural crew is very professional. All were wearing masks. They are tested weekly for COVID. They rented a lift to help with painting. I am very excited to see the final results. Any updates? Really interested to see it.

I do not think I can post, as it is a political mural. Should be finished today, depending on rain.
If it is OK to post, then I will.

Made our fall pilgrimage to the SC fishing village of McClellanville yesterday to buy some shrimp. Peaking now, the fall white shrimp season is fixing to wind down with cooler weather slowly moving in. Here's a few photos of the 50 lbs. we bought. Dropped Charlene at the landing to crab and she caught 10 while I went to the docks. We freeze the headed shrimp in fresh water inside quart containers for use through the year. I used to catch my own shrimp each year but chronic back issues put a stop to that.

So I played hooky yesterday to hound some private land, here's a picture- plus a Fairburn. I didn't find this one so I'm not putting it in my Fairburn Friday thread. But I still wanted to show it off. 😁
