We got out for a nice hike in Apalachicola National Forest the other day.
It's a nice time of year here, not hot yet & no bugs to speak of.
And even a cool bridge over the swamp ( that I did NOT fall in )

Blustery, with an east northeast wind 22 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 43 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. ThursdaySnow, possibly mixed with sleet, becoming all snow after 9am. Dang Beth, it's just the opposite here for us with a record high expected Thursday. Blueberry plants and other plants are beginning to bloom right now. If we get another cold snap it will mess them up.

RickB Local NWS is saying this will be the worst Winter storm in several years. A couple years ago we had snow in May. That was after my apple trees and lilacs had buds/blooms on them. They all froze. I hope that does not happen to you.

LOL Well it was 70 degrees here when I walked this morning, cloudy and the wind was blowing. I almost went back to the house and got my jacket but I went ahead and toughed it out!!! The good news is we will break 80 degrees 6 days in a row.

It's not very good rockhounding weather on the Oregon Coast. Current temps are 41.9°F, Wind Chill is 32.5°F Too cold for me.
