Funny you mentioned that. That's exactly what I told my wife...either he calms down while I do it...or we get a muzzle...or we take him to a groomer and have them do it! Better to pay for him to be mad at someone else! I like the way you think! LOL

Those would make some nice cabs.
I haven't seen Jack Frost like that since I lived in Rhode Island. Beautiful!

This time of year in NW Florida the mornings are foggy & misty and if you catch it just right in the early morning as the sun is coming up, you can see all the little webs that the hammock web spiders have spun during the night, covered with dew. Sometimes the yard is covered with them. And if you can look at one close up, sometimes you can see the tiny spider hiding in the corner. It's amazing to me how tiny they are, & how intricate the webs are, & how they can spin that in one night.
Thanks for looking,
Patty

victor1941 Very happy and springy! I love the yellow rose and the long shrub of purple flowers and even your driveway project. Up north here it is actually starting to seem like spring as well. We may be able to get out soon for some projects too and not be mired in the mud.👍

I didn't realize that "Jack Frost" was a thing, I figured it just came from the Rudolph special

Dunno if you've ever tried, but try shining a flashlight in those same kind of webs and see how many sets of eyes are staring at you. I hate spiders.

Hit 70+ out here today so we made a road trip, unfortunately the mountain road didn't care for our plans and we had to turn around...it got much worse after this.
Took in the side trail back the way a little bit.
Having lunch and watched a seagull drop something from 50 30 feet, hit and run I guess.

LoL Bombs away...!
It's common for the seagulls to pick up mollusks Fly up and away to drop them on the rocks and break them open Then swoop down and catch some fresh meat...

Thought it was a big nothing burger, likely a big fat bird turd at first because the two birds that were fighting mid air flew away.
The CRACK when it hit the ground made me wander over to see what I wondered...

It's spring time for the Sarracenia Pitcher plants.
I'm so excited to see them open up with many more coming.
It's the first years I have all these divisions blooming - very cool.
But if my 12 blooms this morning got me so happy, I'm wondering what hundreds are blooming at jamesp ?? Hint, hint.....

Rare photo of a Jax bush in bloom. :-) THAT is soooooo cute!!! Thanks for sharing Jax with us. I haven't found her in every image in the other thread yet.
ETA: I had a fishing dog in Florida. She was my once in a lifetime pupper. We were inseparable. I have such fond memories....
