Quick flooding update. Water was removed from basement. Trenches and a hole were dug to direct the water to a bucket with holes in it. The water was pumped near the culvert by my driveway. The trenches were then filled in. Whole process took about 3 hours. NO clue how all that water got in basement. Am hoping it was a combo of almost an inch of rain and partially frozen ground. The water came in via some rat tunnels? The pumping guy did a quick inspection of basement walls. Said there were no apparent cracks, but did mention the rat holes. The basement floor is still pretty soft.
Will be seeing if hot water heater works later today.

New addition to the "farm" This looks like a serious and dedicated rock-hounder on a mission to bring those big rocks home. “Ok will’l see tomorrow who’s boss you just wait your mine” “mine I told you your mine”

Running out of things to photo. Down to reptiles. We have some of these green anole lizards (anoles are iguanian lizards) running around the deck now looking for a mate. These guys can change color from green to brown and the male, which this one is, will puff out his red throat skin and bounce up and down to attract a female. Have seen two males fighting out here before - big one always wins.

Evan strutting around with a dewlap is probably something Kathryn wouldn't want to see. LOL!

Do they have Sprecher’s Root Beer up where you are? Yes, joshuamcduffie I have seen it around, but 1910 Root Beer is a bit more popular in these parts. It’s been awhile since I had Sprecher’s.
