I found some more stuff to work on. The Horse Canyon fractured cutting the best scene and I ended up with one preform. The Laguna needed to be modified into a freeform Rhodo, Laguna, Luna, Horse Canyon, Sagenite. The Luna are about 10mm thick. I'll make a high dome on the smaller one and split the larger one and make a low dome/flat top to preserve the eyes. I'll split it later since my trim saw is not being friendly (I hate fracturing good material when every thing looks solid).

I split the Luna this morning. I lay the slab face down and with templates under it, I find the place I want to cut and rotate the slab against a pencil flat on the table around it. I rotate the trim saw blade around the pencil line and when all the way around, push the blade through. I don't trust my skill just pushing through. I ended up with a small nub that I ground off. The preform is now 5mm thick and the eye goes through to the back, so I can put a low dome on the cab.
