Got to hit the grasslands yesterday, here's a few photos plus a nice Fairburn that my son found. Not the best pics of the Fairburn but we can't really go back out there and retake them... Yes, he beat me again. However, I found some cool stuff I'll probably post later. Thanks for looking!

That’s so cool that your son goes out hounding with you.

That’s so cool that your son goes out hounding with you. It really is. He's 30 and the one responsible for getting me into this mess, also my grandson's dad. My grandson is almost 5, he's gone with us a few times which is awesome. I have to bring extra water for his squirt bottle, though, and I get quite a few unexpected showers!

Jelly that you can go pick up Fairburns! C'mon out! Although, that was about six hours of stooping over looking at thousands of rocks in the muck... Nothing I'd rather be doing.

Nope. He's pretty much into just hounding. I got into tumbling (which he doesn't seem to have the patience for), cabbing and wrapping. However, he does like cutting up agates and searching for Fairburn inside.
