The equivalent of a photo shopped rock. I suspect you are correct. I've bought a few of these Indonesian moss agate cabs, plus received some slabs from a seller who supposedly also mined, and the colors didn't look anything like the photos.

I look for unusual attributes on a slab, animals, trees, flowers leaves. I have never seen a landscape on a slab.

SO some thing like this here i had adjusted the exposure, contrast and tweaked the color to make this stone appear more ruddy and multicolored than it is Here in the original that has only the built in wizardry my camera automagically implements or this one where i basically did the same thing but it looks better

Yes, though similar to yours, there must have been some masking or other tweaking going on to keep the color of the flesh from oversaturating - or just weird camera settings. I know that I have huge problems getting stone colors from matching what I see, but in the case of the Indonesian moss and plume agates I got, the photos had blue where I only saw dull gray in-hand, reds were more dull brick than cerise, greens were duller, etc. They were pretty enough, but not as spectacular as I expected from the photos.

I dunno. I think it could be real. It is obviously in bright light. If anyone has seen the great jasper and agate books out there, then you know there are some pretty incredible rocks.
