I suppose it should as the Thundereggs down that way are Rhyolite, with goodies inside. I have Baker Ranch Thundereggs that look very similar. Henry

As many oblong/spherical shaped rocks I’ve brought home and cut that didn’t turn out to be ANYTHING!, in hopes of finding thundereggs, I may just have the Mother Load of a Thunderegg sitting in my rock garden!!! It was found in Deming.

It was found in Deming. Did you collect them in the field or buy them at a Shop? If they are from Deming then they sure have the 'Baker Ranch" look. There are other Thundereggs that occur in the area, a couple of locations in the Florida Mts and other areas. I have never collected at any of the other locations and the Baker Ranch collecting I did was at the late Eddie Lindberg's Thunderegg pit which later became known as Baker Ranch and dug by Paul Colburn, aka "The Geode Kid". That would be around 1975 or 1976 timeframe. Hope that doesn't mean I am getting old!!
