I have about 30 trim saw preforms to work on and said the trim saw was in lockdown. I felt like doing some lapidary work and didn't want to grind. I got a polished Dechutes heel as a freebie with an ebay order I believe from rocks2dust. I slabbed and on the part that was polished had a usable pattern which I liked a lot. I layed out some designs between the fractures on the Mecalero and lost one to the trims saw. The one next to the quarter was solid if not particularly interesting and I need to see if anything is there. I roughed out an uneven piece of Morgan Hill.

Two more. The one on the left kind of makes my eyes hurt.

Once the trim saw is set up...... I got small Tahoma heel a Tahoma slab and a 2x2x1.5 piece of Butterfky Wing from blairrocks for $20 delivered. The order came today. I glued up the BW to slab on Saturday, split the heel (the other side of the first slab is better) and made a preform from the slab. [ href="http://imgbox.com/qVuvQHQb"] [/a]
