The fine gentleman who runs the Michigan Rocks YouTube channel pointed me to this website! So excited to start learning about rock and fossil identification and rock rumbling! I am a rockaholic and spend as much time as I can looking for rocks and at rocks. They mesmerize me and soothe me. I’ve had a rock collection ever since I was about 5 or 6. I’m spending my COVID isolation free time looking through the mound of river rock we had delivered to the house. My family thinks I’m a little nuts, but my mother in law who lives with us is always happy to see what I have to add to my collection. Sometimes my husband will join in if I find fossils. My 16 year old son? Completely bored by rocks. But I gift rocks to a lot of friends’ kids to get them interested in collecting. That’s enough about me now. Looking forward to getting some help identifying rocks and making some rock-solid friendships. And trying hard to avoid using the obvious rock puns. 🙃

Any agate is fun to cut and polish, I would post some pictures of the stuff I have finished but unable to post pictures nor can I add any posts also have a sweet geode I recently cut. So I put this up to see if I can add to profile nothing else will.
