There is a chatoyant jade mined in Neveda. The trade name is Ghost Jade. It was sold by a guy and gal (Alison) at the Blanchard Rock shop in Bingham NM. It is kind of tricky to work as it likes to separate at the filaments when working it. I will try and get a few pics of the few pieces I have.

I find the gnarly outer surface combined with the color of that piece to be irresistibly attractive. Exquisite, mesmerizing, intoxicating would describe the appeal to me.
