I finished cutting all my Blue Tide so I ordered a pound piece of rough from the.crafty.wolf on ebay. Clever name from someone in Minnesota. The basketball team is called the Timber Wolves so wolves must be a thing in Minnesota. I also bought a two piece four pound lot of old stock gemmy Ocean Jasper. The smaller piece has some nice poppies showing but not heavy. The other piece is pretty sparse with poppies but both pieces have the gemmy translucent look. I'll post the slabs when I'm done cutting.

I got snoopy (bored really) and looked up the Blue Tide rough on eBay...I think you're going to get some amazing cuts out of that beauty!

This is the piece I chose. With the last piece the slabs fractured but into big areas and I got 10 cabs from 14 ounces of rough. I don't stabilize and have figured out how to stay away from the problem areas.

I slabbed it and every time I tried to trim preforms it fractured. I'll get free forms and maybe some symmetrical shapes. I put it aside for now. I'll get back to it next time I do some trim saw work. Here are the slabs. Some fractured prior to being trimmed when I tested for fractures (snap). Here they are. forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/92603/blue-tide-seam-agate
