Walt, just say the word and I'll send you some more for the collection. I've got some special badland dust mixed with some tumble weed that you're welcome to.
If we were able to carry the love and tolerance shown here into the world as a whole and get anyone to follow the example set, who knows what could be born from that? Stonemon RIP
Rocks, boardgames, Avon dishes (Cape Cod; I'll stop once I have 6-8 full table settings), and Pyrex (though this is waning; it just takes up too much space).

Any particular bottles you are looking for? I recently got a box of them at a yard sale. I've got one that has, I think, 4 lines of text embossed on the outside of the bottle. Also a full bottle of Chilean wine. I don't know how old it is. Everything else was at least 50 years old.
I focus on bottles that had cork stoppers instead of threaded mouths and if they have a purplish hue from magnesium in the glass, then that's a bonus. Flattened vest pocket whiskey bottles are awesome, as are medicine bottles with raised lettering.
One of my favs is a medicine bottle that says: THE GREAT DR. KILMERS KIDNEY LIVER AND BLADDER REMEDY

Haha, serpens oleum ... Latin for snake oil. Good one.

I get a kick out of this stuff.
Here's a picture of a medicine bottle that I found in some old ruins.

Recently I started collecting Giant House Spiders. I've caught 6 of them in the house in the last couple of months. Here's a video for your viewing pleasure.

I don't know if these count. I mean, do you "collect" them on purpose?
That's kinda like dust, dust bunnies and cobwebs at my house, lol. They just HAPPEN!

This has been a big spider year here in Southern California as well.
But strangest bug kept in our home has to be the Giant Desert Hairy Scorpion we found out at Superstition Mountains (CA), when my dune buggy decided to shear off 4 lug studs on a rear wheel, setting the tire and rim free. Very disconcerting to see one of your rear tires pass you up as you are going down the dirt road, lol.
It happened just as it was getting dark, I had on flip flops. Was lucky to see him before accidentally stepping on him.
We took him home, and he lived in a large jar in the bathroom for several years, we fed him crickets. Yeah, probably the weirdest pet we have ever had...
Most of my collections started out as a few pieces I inherited from ancestors. I also enjoy finding advertising pieces from long gone businesses where I live.
As of now, my collections include glassware, records (Cylinder, 78, 45 and 33 RPM), buttons (some are MOP, bone, wood and Bakelite), jewelry (1800 onward), bottles, logging equipment, post cards, duck decoys, toys/games, books and fishing equipment. Also have a few pieces of Copper Roycroft desk accessories.
Recently purchased a record player that accommodates 78's. It has been fun to listen to some of the records I remember hearing as a child.
My daughter calls me a hoarder. If something brings me joy, it is not hoarding. I have some pieces in my living and dining room.
Listen to the rock. The rock knows its destiny. It will guide you in fulfilling that.
