I traded someone for a polished thousand layer quartz tower before noticing a few dings and chips in it. Is there a way to add a clear epoxy to it to repair it or is the best way to file it down? Thank you in advance to any replies!

I can't speak to the damage since I don't really know what it is, but a good "glue" for it would be hxtal. Expensive, but worth it. It will hold up for practically ever and will not yellow and it is really good for penetrating cracks.
Since this is a rock forum I would think it Sacrilege to even suggest coating with glue/epoxy. that said this is a polished piece of quartz to start with not natural. Repolishing if you have a grinder is no small matter due to the size but it can be done. FYI, Not wierd how the inclusions are opposite of the terminations because that is what the cutter did.

Not looking to "coat" it... looking to fill in the chips since as you said, repolishing would be a hassle. And I pointed out the pattern because I know it was a conscious decision by the artist... I like the design

rocknrob: There was a shop in Portland, don't know if it's still there called Kenny and Zukes who made the absolute best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. The problem is every restaurant thinks their sandwich is worth $20 now and seldom makes the grade.
