I found this grapefruit sized granite in a local rock pile. Another site suggested it is porphyritic granite because of the large grains. I'm still fairly new to creating things from rocks and would appreciate any suggestions from the vets here. My first thought is to slab it and make cabs or pendants. Another suggestion was to chunk it then polish. I don't have the capacity to make a sphere, but that would be sweet. Any suggestions will be welcome
