Ok, as requested by deep south (Jack) I will be flaunting my rocks....LOL. I posted about the area I live in and the kind of rocks I find here (North Carolina). To give a little history, if I may..... I have been picking up little interesting stones here and there for years, but I just had the tumble bug bite me. Anyhow here is the prize of my collection. Hope you enjoy. Well......... could someone tell me how to get a pic on here LOL......Then I could show it LOL. Thank you cookie3rocks.

J, you lucky fella living where you can go out and find stones like that! Needless to say, it's a beauty! Now, you do realize that as we get to know you better we will be demanding that you get yourself out there with shovel, pick, and buckets and collect til your back nearly breaks so that you can sell us some of your neat finds! You can ask Banjo about that! He sells us neat stuff he collects in Arizona. Now, you can be our supplier of NC rocks! ;D That way you never have to worry about having piles and piles of rocks around that you just don't know what to do with. As if that ever happens with us rock freaks! Hehe! I know what you mean about always picking up neat rocks. I have done the same. Never got the tumbling bug til just this past January. 8 months later and I am seriously addicted! This hobby does that to you! I checked out that link you sent and now I really want to make a trip over that way. It's 1400+ miles from here , so I probably won't make it anytime soon. Darn it! llana

Well to be honest I found that stone when I was 10yrs old. I have had it for the last 17yrs. I found it while out, with my grandfauther, on a gold prospecting adventure. We were wlaking thu a patch of farm land that had been recently plowed, and there it was just laying on top of the turned earth. Now that I am older and want to start collecting more rocks, I can't remember where that farm was LOL just my luck.
