Slim Pickens

I would like to buy only top drawer material. The math doesn't work based on what I sell cabs for. I spend time looking for bargains on Blairrock and ebay. I bought the two pictured slabs on ebay and sent pictures to Paul. His response was "Pickens are slim" and I completely agree. I lower the bar to not what is wonderful, but can I sell it. I'm not trying to make income selling. My business plan is buy rock, make cabs, sell cabs and buy better rock. I consider a successful purchase when the proceeds from the sold cabs from the rock is 3 times what I paid for the rock.

I have drawn 5 preforms and barring disaster should be able to hit my goal on the purchase.

I bought 3 slabs of the same material from the same seller with similar value a year ago, made 6 cabs and sold 2.
