Hello:
I was just wondering if ya'll had any favorite periodicals centered around Lapidary. I looked at the Lapidary Journal Jewlery Artist magazine and while it had a few pure lapidary articles it was heavy on jewlery design and making. Expected I suppose but not what I was looking for. I am looking for something that centers more on the rock hounding, collecting, cutting, etc rather than the jewlery. Nothing wring with Jewlery just not my game at the moment.
Let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks, Steven

I subscribe to Rock and Gem. My club has thousands of back issues of Lapidary Journal that I enjoy reading as well.

Thanks for the pointer. I went and looked at an issue but they have a funky digital reader (pocket mags) instead of a downloadable pdf. I hate when they don't tell you that upfront and won't deliver the digital product but hold it hostage via their website/app
Guess if I get it I will just get a print subscription and scan it in myself.

You should call them and ask if the on-line versions are downloadable.

Well that's sucky. You could always print articles to pdf I suppose. I have always just gotten the print magazines. Yeah I thought that as well and the software will allow it but only 2 pages at a time. Guess they want to make it as difficult as possible. My issue is more of I hate paying to own something and then it not being delivered to me but rather held hostage in their app restricting my access to something I purchased. Also being subjected to ads/marketing etc on their app/website especially since none of this was disclosed up front. I bought 4 digital issues and will look through them. If I want a subscription I will just get a print one. Steven
