EVERYONE should have a piece of Optical Calcite in their collection to show off it's unusual properties!

I collected calcite in Southern Ontario on the Niagara Escarpment yesterday. Here is one sample: And to answer the question "Is it fluorescent"? I tried UVA, UVB and UVC and surprisingly the answer is "No" I would love to add a specimen like that to my collection. That is a beautiful piece, sir!
