So I got a couple of chunks of Agua Nueva in the mail yesterday and cut up the small piece.
I was hoping for some more color but there is a rose-ish tinge. We'll see what the big chunk has in store. Regardless, I think that I'll be able to get some decent cabs...

Those will make beautiful cabs, Mike, even if it's not the vivid color you were hoping for. The patterns in the fortifications will make up for the lack of color.

Sometimes subtle color adds to the fortifications!

Some good character in these slabs. It will be interesting to see what cab shapes you choose and what the design looks like. So much potential. Have fun when you have at it.

Very nice! Mexican agates are among my favorites. You should get some great cabs out of that!
