I'd love to cut it! Chromium, nickel and several other materials can cause green color in rocks, as well as copper.

Looks like malachite, I guess not just the "RED Planet" but Red and Green. Maybe the Christmas planet?

Who's been up there tagging with green spray paint? Even the little small granules surrounding it are green with overspray!
Just imagine what else Perseverance will find...

It looks like it will take a nice polish! Hopefully the rover wheels double as polishing wheels.
I had no idea that they would finding so many colorful rocks. Hopefully they find some with some good fortifications next.
