Hi All,
I had a hard time locating some titanium oxide. I finally found some at Bernie's. I just received an email from them stating they no longer have it, and took it off the website?
Can anyone tell me were I can buy this on-line?
Thanks,
Scott

Sands, Is the Titanium Dioxide going to be just as effective as the oxide? I may have to experiment with the dioxidewhen the cerium doesn't work. KD, That's funny I just ordered their catalog about 5 hours ago. Better beat me to it! Thanks Scott

Hello Milfordman, I can't seem to find my catalogs! You might try www.graves.com or www.kingsleynorth.com and see what they have to offer. I can't remember if they carry that particular polish or not. Good Luck, John

I got mine here: www.rocksandthings.com/index.html You have to call him an order over the phone. Ask for shipping charges in advance. I think he inflated the shipping price on my order. I know Banjocreek got 10 lbs from him too. As far as titanium dioxide goes, it tends to foam up. Thumlers sells the dioxide. The overall polish effect is the same.

When I clean my rocks after using use titanium dioxide, I rinse the rocks in VERY hot water then run hot water and borax or powdered dishwasher soap (low sudsing) and one last tumble in hot water and "Oxiclean" powder. Oxiclean gets out all organic stains. great for laundry too. I also use small squares of terry cloth towel to tumble with the rocks. The Titanium dioxide sticks to the towel pieces. When I first used the TD I got it all over my driveway and it is still there. I can't get it out of the cracks. Oops. Now I am very careful where I dump my barrel. Have fun!
