Welcome from Virginia. My condolences. That's a generous offer. It's nice that you will be carrying on your grandfather's passion.

Welcome to RTH. Your grandpa would be happy that you will have some of his rocks.
Agree, very generous to offer some rocks to members here.

HI everyone is there anything in the pictures you think i should be sending back i really dont want to let any of them go but cat spend anymore money on freighting these across country then i already have. of the stuff pictured i havent sent any of those back home. back in january when i was in minnesota when he was about to pass i boxed up everything that was in the house to ship back as it was winter time i didnt have access to the rocks buried under snow and ice. If anyone wants anything let me know i will ship a flat rate box and you can pay me if your happy with the rocks paypal me the shipping fee if not i am not to worried about losing 20 bucks.

I rather like the look of that big petrified wood. Interested. Any idea where it is from?

Welcome from Texas! If possible could you post some more pictures of the rocks you are wanting to get rid of? I like the picture of the first one but would love to see a picture of the whole thing if you are able to, thanks!
