Finally got to sit down and see what I remember.
Just a scrap brass sheet cut into a rando pattern. Testing out my memory on how to hand saw sheet metal. It's rough, but I managed to not break the saw blade at all. Feel it was a bit like "riding a bike" in that as I got past the initial cuts my hand just sort of fell into position where I was letting the saw do the work, etc.
Piece is about 1.5" on the long end.
Nothing special or any specific shape to it (though the way the world is today, perhaps I should attach crypto NFT to it and price it at $50k)
Also, because I have no idea where else to put this, I finished my benchtop workbench recently as well.
It doesn't get more "redneck" than this, but it's rock solid and versatile.
