Well with all the interest in the microcline I decided to post some pics of a couple others found locally:

Bautista Canyon: found in float. Note the mica on one face and the schorl tourmaline

and my favorite from the Lakeview Mountains about 3/4” of a mile behind my moms house. Again note the additional minerals on this one: quartz, tourmaline, and garnet

rocknrob: There was a shop in Portland, don't know if it's still there called Kenny and Zukes who made the absolute best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. The problem is every restaurant thinks their sandwich is worth $20 now and seldom makes the grade. Nov 12, 2024 9:53:31 GMT -5
