Hi all, I know nothing about fossils, so I was wondering if anyone could give me more info on this piece of coral. The piece is about 6 x 4.5 inches on the face. The horn on the bottom is about 1.5 inches long. Can anyone provide me with the name of the coral or horn? Are they 2 separate creatures? Any age estimates? All pics shown wet. Thank you! I have no idea, unfortunately. It was part of an estate sale purchase years ago

Looks like petoskey stone. MI Hexacoral. Hmmm... I guess the polyps do look like those in petoskey stones! Never though about that! I've only ever seen water worn or polished petoskey stone chunks so didnt make the connection. Any thoughts on the horn on the bottom sdide? Is it a horn coral? I assume it is not part of the Hexacoral?
