I grew up in SW WI and they didn't want those nasty power plants on the Mississippi river. When they put them in they kept the water from freezing in the winter and the bald eagles spent the winter fishing. Their population went way up in the area where they had been endangered. so then it was never mind.

Cool pics! It's always a treat to see a bald eagle. We even have them here in Northern AZ. They nest at Lynx Lake. During nesting season, they shut off access to that part of the lake.
