. is tgis possibly stinking water petwood? Nice piece but I don't see anything that says Stinking Water to me, but with photos it is real hard to say for sure. Would have to see more.

This is a piece of Stinking Water OAk. You can clearly see the growth rings and the medullary rays. Not all Oak have the rays!
