yes. The rock cost less than the shipping so I'm having it held until I buy more from the seller. It was listed as a thunder egg and I have no idea what it is. I liked the pattern, colors and values.

Nice! You're going to get a lot of awesome cabs out of that.

I got tired of waiting so I had it shipped. First two slices from the slab saw. The druse was a surprise. I have no idea what it is other than a porcelain jasper. Remaining piece. Finished it off with the trim saw.

I did a preform from a slab without significant druse.

This finished nice. I couldn't center the orby area but got the full pattern and balanced against the clear area on the bottom and the small clear area on the tip. This one seemed to want to follow the pattern. My goal is to maintain the druse pocket. Normally I would do an incurve on the left. I'll trim the right edge and remove what I can on the left and see if I can make something that isn't clunky.

Thats a dugway geode from Utah Could be. Seller called it a thunderegg. I just looked at a bunch of pictures of dugways and they were more suited as specimens. This one had very little druse and made nice slabs with orbs.

After studying it some more, I realized the c curve could go on the right and I could put a low dome on it maintaining the druse pocket. Ready to dop.
