Beautiful pictures which shows an amazingly peaceful place! Love the dates on the trees! I like the one that says "We Skiped"...and I was thinking if they hadn't "SKIPPED" school, they could have learned how to spell! LOL

Sultan River Canyon Trail
Lot's of slate on this trail, it was a steep and brittle 4 miles with occasional running water.
Somehow, someway, river rocks were plenty hundreds of feet above the river. Not sure if that's old river activity or not, I feel like glacial till... That whole area is gorgeous Chad!!

We're hoping to get some more PNW hiking in this summer too on the Olympic Peninsula but we do hit the beach a lot around here for some reason I haven't really explored the coast liked I'd hoped to yet. I have some free time coming up, maybe I can pair that with an excuse to get out there...a scouting mission of sorts.
Whereabouts are you located?
My wife's pretty much already spoken for the summer with her family coming down to visit but we're on the Kitsap peninsula. I do like to get up to Sequim from time to time, you get some fun rocks on the Dungeness Spit and it's really relaxing up there. If you haven't been, I would recommend it!
