It was very slim pickings yesterday, but I did manage to find this one.

Not sure what to make of it. At first glance I thought it was a piece of dirty quartz

After looking closer, it has some druzy, translucency on the edges, and some conchodial fracturing in places.

Maybe something like a silicated chert/flint, the white part makes me think so...

Guess I have to throw it in for a week and see what's under all the grime. Most likely a big nothing burger

Also, this 1.5 lb piece of what I think is fossilized coral.
