Went out one last time a couple days ago, water is still freezing cold despite it being nearly 80 on Monday. Found a few interesting samples. Don't think they'll all tumbel well though.

Piece of palm from Yermo I found today. That's awesome! Are you going to slice it, tumble it, or leave it as is??

Your right it does! That never occurred to me till you mentioned it. We did a field trip there last month and I was in the area and stopped to hunt around a bit. A member has some gorgeous palm root from there with black and whit eyes so I was looking for that and ran across this!

Lol. I think I will display it in the “At Attention” position instead of the “Half Mast” position. It will look better me thinks.

LOL Although going off what Pat said about it looking like "beef steak"...it definitely looks like a prime cut of "something"! LOL

This was technically found yesterday. As some of you know Rockoonz is in my area for the rockhound pow wow, so we met up and made a trip out to do some hounding for Paulina Pink Limbcasts. Took him back into one of my prized spots thats an absolute honey hole. Here was a nice chunk my dad and Lee spotted about the same time. Was pleasantly surprised when I put a cut on it. I'm sure when Lee gets his finds cleaned up he'll post them as well. Was a very productive day and had a great time having him out with me.

As realrockhound said, I had the honor and blessing to hang out with him again, and to meet his dad as well. Also got to brave the micro blizzard with them and travel to their limbcast and agate spots. Found a bunch and was gifted a bunch as well. Limbcast haul Some limbs we went through this morning Some moss and plume from the 2nd spot. The pics don't do them justice, when I'm home and can work with them I'll get better ones. I am very thankful for their time and generosity.

Today we made a "quick" run out to Richardsons Rock Ranch and picked up a few bits. Met a rock club field trip group from Idaho and visited. Serape jasper, found some with a little lace in them. Swazi Agate, little 1 cab wonder nodules
