  Well she did it again yesterday; found at Castle Butte. I think my wife had a palm root detector or something. She was pulling interesting stuff out of the road and asked me to move the truck so she could see what was under it. This was under it! |

Jasp-agate? That what it looks like to me and yes does look like a dense moss in there. Much better description of it. There is some purple and other colors embedded in there. If it holds a shine at all I'll be stoked and would likely be up there with my best finds. I might hit one of those grooves with a chisel to knock a chunk off. jasoninsd I looked it up but I didn't see a good example that matched. I swear it looks like something I've either tumbled or have in the to-do crate |

I showed my wife and she said werewolf too! A saber tooth tiger is a good match too. It actually reminds me of Evil Ed from the original Fright Night; the kid who got turned into a werewolf and they burned a cross into his head, I can even see the cross but that might be my imagination lol… |
