Looks like unakite, which is composed of green epidote, pink orthoclase and sometimes there is visible white quartz.

It doesn’t look exactly like the unakite I usually find in Michigan, but that would still be my first guess. The green is darker than the epidote usually is in the unakite I find.

I was gifted it by my aunt just recently. It could be from texas to florida panhandle North to the dakotas or through UP, that be square area. They used to travel all winter and she said they got it "somewhere"

Unakite can vary a lot from place to place. Here is some unakite I collected in Southern California. Also have some that is very macrocrystalline that does not look like like unakite I have seen anywhere before.
This is the macrocrystalline form I call "Christmas rock".

Thank you everyone for the help. I can see this isn't going to be an easy hobby what with all the different regions having different looks. What I found out west here in Michigan is so beach worn I am having difficulties. I love being in this group as I have yet to find anyone that makes me feel stupid for asking a question. Thank you for that.

No, questions are welcome here. I originally thought the piece of Unakite I posted above was a strange form of granite, as my land is loaded with that. Everything from small pieces with many colors to 8' bolders.
I live in a glacial debris area. RTH members have taught me a lot.
Western Michigan is a great rock/fossil location.
Never doubt yourself and keep learning.

Have a question about something, just ask it. Not just here, but everywhere.
