Jason, those are fabulous! Great job on the circle! Thanks Robin! I've shied away from circles...mainly because I don't have any circle templates! LOL - I used a silver dollar as the template for this one...and the others that are waiting in the wings.

Those are very nice, cabs and settings. Where did you get the settings from (I'm going to read more thoroughly through what you wrote after this... ) The first one reminds me of a setting my dad has from his grandpa with Montana moss agate in it, so it is my favorite out there. Great job. -Nicholas

Those are really nice! The cabs are over the top awesome! Do you do anything poorly? Thanks Tela! Oh...there's plenty of things I mess up on. The second one down has the second cab - for that particular buckle - set in that one. The first one, I didn't have the cab thin enough and when I went to tighten down the bezel setting, I heard a "crack" (because the buckles are curved, not flat). When I realized I had just cracked the cab, I uttered some words that made my Pitbull shoot off the couch wondering who we were getting ready to kill! LOL

Sorry about that, no disrespect meant, it's just that you make some awesome stuff so I couldn't wait to see it. Maybe I'll send you a picture of it. He showed me it when he heard I was in to rocks.

Oh...there was absolutely nothing disrespectful about it...I thought it was funny! LOL I'd love to see a pic of your great-grandfather's! I know my father-in-law has a buckle make out of Wyoming Jade (if I remember correctly)...but I bet the Montana is a killer.

I'm tired so sometimes I can come off a little "angry" lol. Wyoming jade is pretty neat, maybe we could do a picture exchange... I'm planning on doing some yard sale hunting and thrift shopping tomorrow so we'll see if I get it out. I'll tag you if/when I do.

Beautiful work jasoninsd! That first one is exceptional - probably the nicest stone belt buckle I've ever seen. I can't forgive you for the clickbait title though haha I saw your title and thought were I was going to see car crash videos or something and of course I quickly clicked on it

It took all of about 23 seconds to decide on this one. LOL Nice Jason- love that you're adding more variety for your show. Bolos next ? Patty Thanks Patty! I've pondered doing some bolos...but I just don't know if the market for bolos is there like it was 20+ years ago. Fantastic!!!! BOLOS NEXT PLEASE! Thanks Ali! Like I said to Patty, I want to...but I just don't know how well they'd sell. The "show" is right in the heart of cattle country...but I don't know how many ranchers (who I think would be one of the better customers for them) would actually show up to the show. I will delve into them at some point. I know Gemfeller has a bunch of slides for sale right now...at least last I looked they're still there. Beautiful work jasoninsd ! That first one is exceptional - probably the nicest stone belt buckle I've ever seen. I can't forgive you for the clickbait title though haha I saw your title and thought were I was going to see car crash videos or something and of course I quickly clicked on it Thanks Tommy! I had to come up with something more exciting than a title of just "Belt Buckles"! LOL I'm prone to agree with you on that first one. I think the first and second ones are better looking blanks than the others. It is what it is...but I really think the third and fourth type of blank really have a "cheap" look to them...and they are compared to the other ones. I like the idea of having belt buckles as an inventory option...so, I'm going to be looking for blanks a little nicer than these. I know they're out there...but they're more expensive than these...so we'll see what interest there is at the show and decide where to go from there...

Those are nice, I really like my buckles. As far as rounds, I preform them with a hole saw on my drill press and use a center finder to mark the dop location so it's centered. I have aluminum dop sticks with 3/8 handles that will chuck into a power drill for shaping the dome uniformly, a trick an older club member taught me. I intend to make a handle for dops that will allow them to spin from the wheel action to eliminate the drill motor, and allow for the 1/2" aluminum I normally use for dops.

I've heard about the drill method. I use 3/8" welding rod cut into 3" sections...so I "could" use the drill method...but I'm a glutton for punishment! LOL They are very nice. You are so talented. Thanks Beth! I'm workin' on it.
