Some tumbler troubles coming, I'm sure. These are from our vacation in southern Oregon and the areas where we collected them.
Along the beach at Bandon, Oregon. My homemade Rock Scoop in action (modified design from Jugglerguy 's creation). Thanks Rob! Got rocks? Hunting on Social Security Bar (yes, that's the real name!). Further up river.

I went for cheap in case there were going to be several modifications, plus if it broke replacements would be easy to find. It needs a fortified lip area for better scooping action, but works well on the beach and in water, and it certainly saves our backs from too much bending over.

I think I would have left my camping equipment behind to make room for more rocks. You did good.
