Hi
I have a few Dugway geodes which have a brown stain on the white crystals- - it doesn't power wash off reminds me of clay
any suggestions for cleaning? seems like some of the geodes had developed micro- cracks, desert dust got in and is now chemically bound
I haven't tried chemicals of any sort

If you use warm to almost hot water(not boiling) it helps the cleaning

I put it in a bucket with my crystals that I had scrubbed with a couple different soaps and remained brownish in color. I forgot about them and they soaked all day. They are so crystal clear now and sparkle. Couple even have mika inclusions (at least that's what I think it is, thin silvery flash) that I didn't see before. Thank you dshanpnw 😊
