I was using my 3rd wheel from left to right with both geysers when I noticed I had flooded the belt area and now the geysers don't work at all. So I let it all dry out and I put a piece of duct tape across the sides and bottom and now it's secured from spray from the bottom 1/2 or more of the arbor shaft and I have yet to experience the slipping belt problem.

That's a good tip for people who are new to using those machines.
I cut a writing tablet backer to fit around the shaft and "laminated" it with tape before attaching it. Said I'd replace it with plastic sheet someday... .

My old pixie's pump is getting slow on me, but I fixed the problem by cleaning my belt off in plain water and slipping it back on the pulleys. Next time that happens I have to try this.

Not a bad idea perk! @hummingbirdstones2 I will be doing a real fix soon lol after OP the duct tape did fail on me surprisingly to me but hey it did. So a little splash guard of plastic is in my future. Seems like it should have been in the original design. I'm a tinkerer though so I'll have fun customizing my genie.

Been having the same problem. I always run both geysers as well and after a bit, it begins to slip

I never had that problem. Geysers plug and need to be flushed. My pump belt broke and left side was frozen so I went to an aquarium pump and larger geysers. The Genie geysers have more power but with two of new geysers I get plenty of water.
