And to think I thought the reason men don't nag their wives is because they have nothing to be nagging them about!  |

That one is thickly built, awesome color. There is a dragonfly design specifically to eat others. It has that same stout structure and is large. |

I hope you guys had a peaceful weekend, glad to hear Dad is back home. A peaceful weekend, but a bit warm and sticky. mohs sent some of his 'soooons this way. Big towering white clouds building to the east of us. The ubiquitous "they" are saying we may get some thunderstorms and lightning later today and tomorrow. Possible flash floods if that happens. As previously mentioned to you James, Dad returned home the same day he went to the ER for the labs and chest x-ray, never even went into the hospital, let alone got admitted. He has always been a homebody, and hospitals or ERs are not among his favorite joints to hang about. He's been there and done that a few times. I'll see him again tomorrow. James, how are you doing? No new boo-boos while traipsing about the countryside, looking for the elusive Red Dragon? Are your meds working, keeping the pain at bay? Just need to make sure jasoninsd doesn't share any jokes with you and get you laughing. And watch out for those sneaky sneezes. Achooo! |

Got some dragonfly pictures out by my pond yesterday. I'm not sure how I got this one to the point where I could load it. I've got a few more in cyber limbo. I'll get them up here when I figure it out. |

Very nice pictures, rockbrain! You have the red dragons, too. Poor jamesp getting skunked on the red dragons. Yea, Robin, vegasjames, rockbrain all get to have red dragons. My southern dragons must have eaten all the red ones ! Yea, that's it ! Southern dragons get to eat blood fattened mosquitos all day long, must make them vicious vampires and cannibals !  . What part of the country are you at rockbrain ? I see a gator, cannas and horsetail. Somewhere down in the deep south ? |

I love dragonflies. Everyone's photos have been very inspirational. I am working on this painting. Originally, was planning on Eastern Pondhawks. Now am thinking something with more color in the wings. Plan on using iridescent paint for the dragonflies and a little in the background.  |
