Great shots of these guys Jim! I love seeing pictures of wasps. I find it amazing that most wasps aren't aggressive unless provoked.

Great shots of these guys Jim! I love seeing pictures of wasps. I find it amazing that most wasps aren't aggressive unless provoked. There must be a dozen other wasp varieties Jason. The problem is that they never sit still enough to get a photo. Too busy to have any other interests like attacking thankfully ! They are aggressively harvesting something off the inside of those plants. It is so hot(full sun and humid) at this spot and the bugs are really active due to the heat.

They just get drunk off that nectar and start looking for more food. Thankfully they're a "happy" drunk and not an "angry" drunk! LOL

Lol, that's too funny jasoninsd. That fellow has talent ! I mean really. Odd that the wasps seem to consume the most of that 'nectar' and stay fairly sober. Perhaps the nectar rich portions of that plant should be harvested and consumed to attempt a buzz like the gentlemen in the video ?
