Not me, my 8 inch machine. The wheels started binding and tripped my power strip. I tried rotating by hand and something is wrong. It is only being used now for 600 and 1200 and the 600 is wearing out. I've been physically beat up so I don't want to deal with it. It was using a Genie tray so I had switch the tray from left to right and now I don't need to do that. I had a new 1200 grit Nova so I only needed to buy a 600 from JB. I need to take the 14,000 and 50,000 off the right side arbor so it's back to being and original Genie. I might buy another right side adaptor for $150 and will have room for another wheel.
I started with a Genie and then put 5 wheels on the 8 inch stardiamond machine and only used the Genie for prepolishing and polishing. I developed arthritis in both thumbs and the wheels are more comfortable to use on the Genie. I do most of my grinding on an aggressive 80 grit and don't do cabs that require and 8 inch wheel. My stardiamond is temporarily retired.

I ordered the right side adaptor from rockpeddler, drop shipped from DP and a 600 supernova from JB. Both will arrive tomorrow. I did 4 cabs today using a barely broken Nova 1200, skipping the 600 that I don't have and everything came out fine. Tomorrow, I will spread the 5 wheels over the two adaptors.

My adaptor arrived yesterday and I moved the 14,000 and 50,000 soft wheels on to it. I paid $125 for it with tax and shipping. It comes with 6 spacers, 2 double wide, 3 regular and one 1/2 wide. This allows for a lot of flexibility. I didn't need to add a third wheel to the arbor. I like to try out wheels from different manufacturers. Highland Park has 6 inch soft wheels but they only come in 2 inch width. I don't have a real need for the extra width but the soft wheels I was using on the star diamond machine were 8x2. With spacers I can mount 2 on an arbor. A 2 inch width wheel should have 33% more life than a 1 1/2.
