Breaking very bad! Seems like I've been breaking quite a few cabs lately. It really hasn't bothered me much. I figure it's just part of the game. But this one pissed me off for some reason. The front was completely done. I took it off the dop and was grinding a little superglue off the back and the piece just fell off. Okay I'm done venting. I should have another piece like it. I'll make another.

That's an interesting chunk that fell out. It's a beautiful cab, worth reshaping if for nothing but practice 👍

Have you checked to make sure that your wheels are balanced. Out of balanced wheels or a slightly misaligned arbor can cause enough vibration to contribute to cabs breaking along natural fractures or falling off the dop.
That said Larsonite is often not very solid material and is notorious for falling apart when slabbing and cabbing.

Heartbreaker...and a definite steam engine for steam coming out of one's ears!
Beyond the break...that cab was spectacular! I love your diagonal orientation of the pattern...and your polish is stellar!

I'll second what was said about Larsonite being prone to cracking.

Oh no! That's a good looking piece, I'd be mad too. I've had a number of breaks recently but they were all my fault 😭

I feel your pain - hope you can save it from the dreaded scrap bin & re-shape it
