Lee Rockoonz , I've never taken a call with them, so can't speak to how well that works. Few people have my cell number, and I'd like to keep it that way. They can call my land line and leave a message there. Most are robocalls or spam calls anyway. When they don't leave a message, their number gets blocked. Did I mention I hate phone calls? So annoying. Haven't had a land line in years, not even available here. All the people who typically call are saved in my contacts, the rest better leave a message. The exception is my new "work" phone. My clients may call on it so I have to answer it every call, once training is done. The boss will call my personal phone first. I enjoy calls from those who are on the list, most of the time.

Lee Rockoonz , our landline is a leftover from when we had a business. I could save money by having it disconnected, but then my cell phone bill would go up exponentially! Like I said, I'm not a habitual phone user, but every message/text/call I would get charged for. When I initiate them, I don't mind paying for them. But when people call me, I prefer them to call my land line, lol. The ATT land line enables us to use the internet via wi-fi, we do not now, have never, paid for data. Edit to add - If we need to us the internet while away from home, we use a mobile hotspot, $21.19/month. Useful if following directions from Google while driving, or getting info while on the road, i.e., finding nearby business locations or phone numbers.

had the land line and the same internet provider for 20 years Us West and Earthlink Earthlink was a good internet provider I started w/ modem on this board then 2014, I think, went w/ their DSL service they always answers my calls from India and got me through technical issues we did a lot joking or I did had that same account & email address for 20 years that had to break an internet record ...mostly can still recall the phone number in the home I grew up in parents had that same number from 1947 until 1972 Then Mountain Bell had to reconfigure the area codes we stayed with original area code (602) butte was issued a new phone number can still recall that too I think thanks for asking ! Mine is quite different then most and certainly different then when I was younger. I love hymns and calm piano music. My favorite is Fernando Ortega, and The Gettys. I also love watching Tim Janis videos on YouTube.

I have Sirius xm radio as some places we go don't have a radio station close enough to pick up. I have it tuned into #55 the garth brooks channel. He listens to every genre. I am however a country girl at heart. Husband trying to inject 70's and 80's into my listening pleasure. It's ok but its not counrty. Old old or new country is my go to.
