August 2022:
Up three foot four for the month, wiping out July’s loss and a chunk of June’s to boot.

No measurable rain here in months. Lat rain was 8 drops per square foot.

Thought you might find this interesting. This is a pond right behind where we live, the water was/is normally at the white rocks. It was there in April now its this low. jamesp was thinking of your post about the droughts too.

Started losing again in November. Down three foot three for the month but still a couple of feet above July’s low.
Similar traj. up at Powell which was down twenty inches.

Mixed bag for December. Mead gained almost two feet and Powell was down over three.
Both down for the year. Mead lost almost twenty-two feet and Powell about twelve and a half.

Good morning, Tela. We have had POURING RAIN here all night, interspersed with fireworks and gunfire. It's amazing how stupid some people can be. Wondering what the collection of rain water will be looking like in all the plumbing work today? It's too bad there was no time to haul stuff off before everything got dumped on.

I just ran across that story and wondered about San Diego. Hard to complain about rain, I guess, but it does make a mess.

1-11. 30 degrees and moderate rain. Very foggy. Lots of puddles on top of ice. Sheriff's Department from 5 miles away is telling people to stay off the roads. Multiple crashes and road closures on State, County and Town roads.
I have never seen this type of precipitation and temps here before in January. Just hope there is not enough icing on electric lines to cause them to snap or tree limbs to take them down.
