The only reason I found it at all was it was laying on the ground right in front of my shop door and I have been walking around it for a year! It a wonder I did not throw it on the rock pile!
I like the learning opportunity this presents. woodman can you provide some input? Thank you Victor for the help, it seems there is agreement with βArizona, Sunset, and Dendriticβ SO amazing that folks can look at a rock and tell you right where it came from, like Burro Creek... just awesomeness.
Really I have no clue of what it is, I got it from a garage sale in Prineville Oregon afew years ago. A friend told me Burro Creek also, so could be. It should make some real good cabs.

rocknrob: There was a shop in Portland, don't know if it's still there called Kenny and Zukes who made the absolute best pastrami sandwiches I have ever had. The problem is every restaurant thinks their sandwich is worth $20 now and seldom makes the grade.
