Ed; let me try this a different way. NO. LHO thought to himself "I'm gonna kill the president" and with malice a forethought learned of the presidents motorcade schedule and gained access to sniper's nest in the book building. His military training kicked in and he took 1 or 2 or 3 shots (whatever!) and iced JFK. Sorry folks, that ain't random or without reason. Senseless? Perhaps. But not random or without reason. That excellent Scott. And I agree. Random in the sense that no larger conspiracy was involved Oswald acted alone. Senselessly and with malice Ed

Thanks Ed. Truth be told, I never felt Oswald worked alone. The position of the snipers nest with the president moving away at a very slight angle was too too good for it to be luck.
Kidlet has read quite a lot about this topic. She knows way much more than I. She almost has me convinced Oswald acted alone. She certainly is. I trust her judgement on most things.

50 years ago, the day Kennedy was killed, I had just quit my job as an electrical engineer because of Politics. I was working as an electrician, bending conduit to go into the slab of a church being built near the mouth of Provo canyon, and my old boss was there trying to talk me into coming back to work for him. I was too young and stupid to know you can't get away from politics. It is everywhere! I agree. Oswald acted alone. After the dastardly deed was dood, he (Oswald) stole Kennedy's brain, the car he was killed in, etc.

Yo Scott Not sure who Kidlet is ? But kudo’s to that person The written material is humongous
Perused most of it…mostly a few I've read pretty deeply Was always interested Even attended a college lecture by Jay Lifton in the 1970’s
After 9-11 I had to get serious about what I could reasonably believe about the assassination, and how much unbelief I could narrow down I ended about 89.3 % sure of my reasonable conclusions Enough for an old rock grinder Ed

Kidlet is my teen daughter -
For future reference, I have a cast of characters when I write online. Me, wifey, kidlet and Hobo the Wonderdog. Of course, there is the tortoises Loverboy, MegaTort and Swifty too, but that's their real names! lol

That's really great Scott !
I would suggest 11/22/63 by Stephen King Not for the Kennedy assassination info although there is plenty in the novel to ponder but for a master piece of excellent novel writing I'm not a big King fan only read a couple & "the Stand" I didn't even finish about 20 pages left... mostly
But 11/22/63 is a masterful novel of time travel, American tragic experience, a love story and classic American literature

I never heard that theory! now my percentage as just dropped to 83.7% thanks mostly I thought that would rile the waters. There were too many forces in play, way beyond 3-D chess! Kennedy had just fired Dulles who ended up on the Warren Commission to "find the truth." The CIA was a tad upset at him. Kennedy was getting ready to lower the hatchet on the FED and get our money problems straightened out The Democrat Party was upset because he was becoming too conservative for them. Crime Inc. was fighting back. Russians were after him. Cubans were after him The Bay of Pigs survivors were swarming. Too many weird things happened after Kennedy's death. And that is just what we know about.
