Direct into the wall is fine, if you need to use an outlet strip that is also ok. I wouldn't plug anything that draws more than lighting in with it though.

Dude...
It arrived August 25th and you just got the wheels on and have yet to use it almost 50 days later?
Now, you "need to get the pump system on and figure out how to get it placed so it drains correctly" AND figure out how to plug it in?!
This ain't rocket science, plug that thing in and get to work!
I would have had that baby running the night I got it.

Also its a 20 min drive from my house to where the cabber is stored so the free time i do have is not enough to sun over and set it up.... If it was at my house I would already have had quite a few cabs made.

Sounds like you have a pretty full schedule!! Stick with it, though. You'll have quite the rewarding hobby for when you have more free time to devote to it.

Well i got the hoses figured out (i hope)... I just need to get a very clean 5 gallon bucket and a power strip, put a few other parts on, and I should be set to start! (I would like to try it out on monday hopefully) I will know if my hoses work good after the first 5 min of work

whadda need the bucket for and would a waste paper can work? need the bucket to put the pump in... The pump is rather fast and puts a lot more water on the wheels than a pixie... I need to fine tune the water though as there was a large puddle on the table when i was done.

Surprised you guys havent banned the penny. No longer in circulation, found it to be a useless coin worth more in weight per pound then as a currency.

Coming along very nicely. Some folks pump & drain from the same bucket, raising the pump so the heaver waste can settle below the pump. I have not tried it though.

Rich I was thinking about that but i would rather not risk it... water is cheap! Still anything that gets in the pump when it turns off and drys would be a mess to clean to get it to work again i'd think.

Genies recycle water. I recycle water in my stardiamond using aquarium pumps. If my Genie sprayer stops, I stick the head in clear water to flush it out. I change water between cutting, sanding and polishing. A small bucket should work fine. My water is stored in the trays.

Are you using overhead sprayers or the under bubblier

under bubbler on stardiamond, under sprayer on Genie , but I don't think it matters.

I call them mud squirters. I'll stick with clean water, a little contamination can ruin expensive diamond wheels.
